The pickup, which rolled after contacting another vehicle, was towed following the crash between Utter and Van Winkle avenues on the northbound side.
The driver made it out under his own steam before members of the Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Corps put him in a neck brace and took him to a nearby hospital.
Northbound Route 208 in the area was closed for about a half hour after the crash.
Glen Rock police assisted Hawthorne police, firefighters and the Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Squad.
